2008 Jack Daniel's Invitational BBQ Contest -- Congratulations to these teams that got to walk to the stage at this great event.

2008 -- Bob and Steve of Jiggy Piggy from Decatur, AL wins Reserve Grand Champion at the American Royal Invitational in Kansas City!

2008 -- Tommy of Checkered Pig from Martinsville, VA takes Grand Champion at Lumberton, NC.

2007 -- Dan and Elaine of Barnwood Bar-B-Que place 7th overall at the National Barbeque Festival Open in Douglas, Georgia. Pork placed 6th using apple pellets.

2006 -- I Smell Smoke on a roll! Update 6/26/06 ISS wins the Peter's Pond Rib and Brisket Festival This contest holds a special place in the hearts of all ISS members. It is the first contest that the team ever competed in, the first contest where the team earned a trophy and the place of Charlie and Carlotta's Wedding. Update 5/22/06 ISS wins the Rhode Island State Championship. The team earned first place honors in Ribs Brisket and Pork. They also won Second Place in Chicken. Update 5/21/06 ISS wins the Rhode Island Grilling Competition

May 2006 -- Thank you so much for sending us the samples of the BBQrs Delight pellets. We just competed in Ashland, MS this past weekend at the Mississippi Springfest. There were 42 teams. We got a 4th in Chicken using the orange pellets and a 1st in Pork with a mixture of Pecan and Oak. We also won the Grand Championship which is our first. Talk about being excited.... Again, thanks so much for the samples and I think we will be converting to these on a full time basis.
